ACA is definitely the best and most professionally run car auctions in the UK. The quantity and quality of the motors going through their auctions leaves the others in the shade.

Brilliant once again lot number 316 Ford camper was my favourite I would have snapped it up at that price.

Marvellous how many low mileage cars are on offer. British stop/start motoring and salty climate aside its a shame these cars are so undervalued

I don't agree that mid-late 90's was MB's heyday. I thought they were prone to rust amongst other issues ....

The interior of this car is not that of a GXL as it has very simplified door cards and no rear central armrest. In any case, even if it was a GXL, it would have been a very late registered example as it’s replacement as the top model of the Mk1 Granada was then the Ghia of which some early examples were registered on 1974 “M-plates”.

I had a 1975 GT4 from mid-80s until the later 90s. It was an early US spec car so it had some “Dino” badging (front bonnet and steering wheel center) and some prancing horse badging…it also had the hideous US-required 5 mph bumpers…those really defeated the crisp clean exterior styling. But it was a great car for city streets, rural backroads and highway cruising. Best of luck with the sale of that red beauty! I’ll be watching from here in the USA.

Same model and year as my first car - it's even the same colour. It was already 14 years old with over 80,000 miles on the clock when I bought it, and I added another 100,000 miles. I sold it to a restorer in 2004, and two years later I saw it at an auction... I couldn't afford it!

My Dad had this exact model when I was born. He took it to Paris with my Uncle and two older cousins in 1958 on the Silver City Air car transporter out of Lympne Airport Kent. They got hit badly by a big French truck while stationary in Paris centre and were all hospitalised for six weeks in my Dads case, (cracked skull) my Uncle had a shattered leg, loads of pins fitted etc. but all survived and my two older cousins are still living now. Car was a right-off and then then my Dad bought a gorgeous new two-tone Vauxhall Cresta in 1959. I loved my Dad. ❤️

Its not been used much over the last few years but I've done nearly 400,000 miles in my Mk1 Sprite that I bought in 1967. Its a 1958 car and I suspect that it'd been round the clock at least once before I bought it. Those miles included some club racing ones and lap records. However its now a 100% standard matching numbers car, put all the original bits back. That Morgan is a great car.

The 2.3 v6 was thirsty and offered little more over the 2.0 pinto it also was front heavy and scrubbed out the front tyres. It depreciated in value quicker than the popular 1.6 and 2.0 litre variants. I had a 1.6GL a fine car at that time. Easy to maintain.

My ex girlfriends dad had one in the early 90's. I drove it a couple of times and loved it. I always remember the gearshift being really nice and smooth compared to many cars of the same age. I do want one! His was red, which I liked.
